Tourists snapping up Zimbabwe's most popular $100-trillion Zimbabwe dollar note

This is a bank note I'd like to have! Western visitors to Zimbabwe are snapping up old, defunct Zimbabwe bank notes, most notably the $100-trillion Zimbabwe dollar note, as an economic souvenir.

The note, which was abandoned about two years ago when the American dollar became legal tender, now sells for US$5 ($6.40). At the height of Zimbabwe's economic meltdown in 2008 when its inflation was running into the billions in per cent, the $100-trillion note scarcely bought a cart of groceries. Street vendors said visitors had been so intrigued by the Zimbabwe notes that they were now running out of them. AP
